Highlights of the event –
Music issue during the event, was the matter of concern.
Tim Cook the center of attraction after gadgets.
Apple launched iWatch but why i is silent in that!!
Event trending on Twitter with tags #AppleLive and #iPhone 6 and Tim Cook
Below are some most interesting tweets for the great Apple iPhone 6 event –
If #Apple launches 4.7 n 5.5 inch screen mobile then what samsung has to do??? Launch 10 inch mobiles very soon
After a lot of hype and tons of rumors, Apple finally unveiled its new flagships-the iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 plus. Let’s take a look at features of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
Apple has always been an avid caretaker when it comes to their gadgets design. Even the iPhone 5s which is said to be the least creative of the I-family, sports a look that is quite impressive and gives you a premium feel when held. With the iPhone 6 and 6 plus they stepped it up even further, giving it a sleek and elegant look that would be awe-inspiring to both fan boys and regular customers. Well you just have to see it.
Apple finally realized that if it has to stay in strong in the smartphone market it has to catch up to its competitors in every aspect and that includes size! So,we see two bigger iPhones (one a lot bigger actually). The iPhone 6 comes with a 4.7 inch display with a resolution 1334*740 and retains its previous pixel density of 326ppi. The 6plus went even bigger, sporting a 5.5 inch display at full HD resolution of 1920*1080 and a pixel density of 401. What apple now calls the Retina HD display seems to be quite amazing even on the iPhone 6 despite being only 720p.
3. New processor
The new A8 chip as expected has a 64-bit architecture and as claimed by apple, the CPU is 25% more efficient while the GPU is 50% better. Now that is something considering that the 5s itself was quite a beast, beating most of the top end phones in terms of processing power and graphics.
4. Apple pay!
This is one big change, not only for apple but also a lot of other things & people too. After years of ignorance, apple finally gives in and brings not just the much awaited NFC but also a very innovative application of it-the apple pay. Now this is not just some kind of a pushover where you use it for some apps in the appstore.
You can literally use it anywhere in the U.S and probably soon enough in other countries too. So what exactly is apple pay?Well its simple really, Lets say you go to a McDonalds buy some heavy stuff and go over to the counter. All you have to do is take your iPhone out, hold your home button and select a payment card on the screen and WHOOSH! You’re done paying!Isn’t that like super cool? This is currently supported by 6 major banks in the U.S and more are bound to join.
5. iOS 8
While this had already been revealed earlier this year and is not a major overhaul to the previous version it still got some handy tweaks. For example, while typing it understands your text and gives contextual suggestions which makes your typing a lot faster and easier. Also there is an all new health app that works together with other fitness apps giving you lots of invaluable information about your condition.
Sure it’s still the same 8MP camera on both the phones but know what? Never count apple out of the game. The iPhone 6 & 6 plus feature an I sight camera, packed with better sensors, better lens and better image stabilization techniques. The 6 plus seems to be even better with the optical image stabilization and its amazing capability of capturing up to 43MP panorama shots. They can also shoot 1080p videos at 30 or 60 fps but the most interesting thing is the ability of capturing slow motion videos at 240fps. Severely cool.
The iPhone 6 with 16 GB of storage, will start at $199 with a two-year contract. In comparison, the iPhone 6 Plus will come in at $299 with a two-year contract.
So it is quite evident that Apple had made some major changes to both its new devices and the so as well. At this stage it is hard to tell whether it’s worth the buy especially because the improvements in CPU, GPU and camera are yet to be tested. All in all both 6 and 6 plus look amazing, both on paper and screen, about time we feel it in our hands!
The Muslim marriage practices at various locations in the entire world are practised with different methods. Few of the general methods practised for during any Islamic or Muslim marriage are listed below : –
Practices: – The major practice of a Muslim wedding also known as the Nikah is that a contract is signed during the marriage. The traditions of the marriage vary as per the culture, the different Islamic group and also on the compliance of gender rules. The wedding ceremonies generally are not performed in the mosques and during the entire procession of the Muslim wedding the male and female members remain in different areas. Since there is no practice of priesthood in the Muslims hence the marriage procession in Muslims can be performed by any person. Few of the marriages are performed in the mosques that majorly are performed by the qazi or the madhun. The marriage in the Muslim culture is said to be a contract not only between the couples but also a contract with Allah.
Meher: – One of the major components of the Muslim wedding is the meher. Meher is an official document that relates to the money that a groom promises to give to his wife. Meher comprises of two different parts the first one is related to pre-wedding time even before the marriage is declared consummated which is referred as prompt while the second part of Meher is an amount that the male promises to give the female all throughout her life which is referred as deferred amount. In the current times a ring is considered as a prompt that the groom gives to bride whereas the deferred amount can be in different form that can be either monetary, jewellery land etc. This deferred gift can be used by the bride as per her own wish and no one has the right to question on usage of this gift by her but until the marriage breaks or the haven’t been consummated. Meher is given to the bride as a part of her future security and her freedom in the bond of marriage.
Nikah: – The contract of the Muslim wedding is officially signed on the day of marriage or nikah ceremony. On the day of Nikah either the groom or his relatives or friends keeps the proposal in front of the bride with two person as the witness of the marriage procession and at this time only the bride or her representatives are made aware about the details of the meher. The marriage is considered only after both the bride and the groom repeat the word “qabul” thrice. Qabul stands for “I Accept” in Arabic. The marriage is solemnized after the bride and groom sign the contract along with two other male witnesses and hence legalizing the marriage as per the civil and religious law. As per the tradition both the bride and groom further shares the sweet fruit like date finalizing the marriage. In case the male and female are separated during marriage procession then a male person who is referred as wali represents the bride’s side during the procession of nikah.
Vows and Blessings: – Fewer times another ceremony is also performed after the nikah ceremony during which the “Fatihah” is recited which the first episode of Quran and durud is called as blessing. These vows are often recited by the officiant and the couples just listen to these vows. The officiant also defines the meaning of various vows. Few of the Muslim wedding ceremonies involve the bride and groom to recite vows which goes like :-
Bride Recitation: –“Bride says her name and takes the vow that she would practice all the rules of marriage as specified in the Holy Quran and Holy Prophet bestow their blessing on him. She also promises to be honest and sincere in the marriage and will be a faithful wife”.
Groom: – The male takes the vow that he would be faithful, honest and sincere in the marriage and would always help his wife.
The other practice is of Valima also known as Dinner. The Valima is the ceremony that is performed by the Groom and his family. During this ceremony the neighbours, friends and relatives are invited for the dinner. This generally is a simple ceremony with no lavishness thus not spending large amount of money.
There are several traditions practices before the actual day of Nikah and few of these ceremonies are:-
Henna Ceremony: – This ceremony is generally performed at the brides place generally 2 to 3 days before the nikah ceremony. The special artists come and put henna designs on rides hands and feet. In many Islamic countries this ceremony is also performed by groom’s family.
Taking Bath: – The couples are prepared for the marriage by making them bathe before wedding.
Sharing a Drink: – This is also referred as the engagement ceremony which is solemnized by sharing the sherbet.
Turmeric Ceremony: – This is the celebration performed at both the brides and grooms family where turmeric is applied on the bodies of bride and groom for good luck, glow and woo off the evil spirits. The ceremony is also practised by serving sweets to all the guests.
Hopefully, these Muslim Wedding Customs will be loved by you. Do attend a marriage for seeing all these live.

The Jodi of Nitin Gadkari and Gopinath Munde is one of the most Flip Flop Jodi of Indian politics. They had been together since a very long time. They fought together, protested together, struggled together. At the same time, a cat fight was also seen between them. According to DNA, there was battle heat between the two for the seats in Lok Sabha elections 2014.
There was a rage between them for Pune and Latur seat in Maharastra. The two were also accused for irrigation scam. But whenever the issues resolved they were again seen as best friends. Honda, the Japanese Car Maker, finally entered into the lucrative MPV division of India with the launch of its first MPV Honda Mobilio, which is available in two engine choices of 1.5-litre diesel engine and 1.5-litre petrol engine. Stylish and masterly designed 7-seater MPV; Honda Mobilio first look would really entice a large number of Indian folks as it is all set to vie the mid range premium MPV segment, owing to its space, exterior sporty design and comfort which is intended to suit the specific needs of Indian families.
Owing to Honda Mobilio First Look, dealers of Honda across India have already started taking booking requests from the customers; this has been confirmed by several Honda Mobilio Reviews online.
Honda Mobilio is designed on the similar platform as Amaze sedan and Brio hatchback, thus allowing the automaker to share of its parts amongst the three models and helping them to keep the price of Mobilio competitive. About 4.4 meters long, Honda Mobilio is relatively longer compared to both these hatchbacks and hence promises to offer more space inside the sedan for big Indian families.
To stay ahead in the competitive premium MPV segment, Honda Mobilio features/specifications have been designed to entice and allure the younger generation of India, especially for those who seek distinctive looks combined with expediency of an MPV. This MPV really looks livelier and appealing compared to all its other counterparts. However, the front-end of the sedan has been designed similar to Brio hatchback, but it looks more stylish, while the rear end and side profile of the vehicle is truly distinctive.
The styling of the sedan is mainly idiosyncratic and the ultimate amalgam of long overhang, large glasshouse, the stylish bumper and sporty taillights really help Honda Mobilio to stand apart from all its competitors in the market. Mobilio is also available in sporty RS variant which is masterly designed with sporty exterior details with projector headlamps and LED lamps, alloy wheel design, tailgate spoiler, sporty chrome grille, chrome door handles, side sill garnish and retractable wing mirrors with turn indicators.
Honda Mobilio Features/specifications have been designed in adherence to signature design philosophy of Honda “Man Maximum, Machine Minimum”. The automaker guarantees maximum utilization of space and also expediency with its exceptionally designed interiors. Though the interior of the sedan is very much similar to Amaze and Brio, but Mobilio allows seven occupants to seat at a time. The 2nd row set of the sedan provides 60:40 split function with recline and slide option, while the 3rd row seat offers 50:50 split folding type with recline option for extra luxury and comfortable ride.
To maximize the cargo space, you may fold the 3rd row seat and tumble it forward. The raised roof lining offers exceptional headroom for passengers in 2nd row and third row seats, whilst producing sufficient space to incorporate rear AC panel. The sedan comes with automated electric mirrors, ABS & airbags and touch screen infotainment system with navigation facility, and steering mounted audio controls.
Gearbox & Engine
Honda Mobilio comes with both diesel and petrol engine options. The 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine is based on advanced Earth Dreams Technology of Honda and renders 100Bhp Power & 200Nm of torque, thus making it the most advanced and powerful engine in the MPV diesel segment today.
The engine of the sedan has been paired with 5 Speed manual gear box and it claims fuel economy of 24.2 KMPL, thereby making Mobilio the advanced fuel efficient car in MPV segment. The 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine offers 119Bhp Power with 145Nm of torque. Paired with 5 Speed manual gears, Mobilio guarantees exceptional fuel efficiency of 17.3KMPL.
According to Honda Mobilio Reviews, the price for this sedan has been set reasonably (i.e. 6.49 Lac INR for Petrol Engine and 7.89 Lac INR for Diesel Engine), which is around 70,000 INR more compared to other MPV sedans. Though the sedan seems a bit pricy, but the premium quality interior, smart looks of rear and exterior and top class specifications justify the price set for Mobilio.
The decent luggage space, airy & spacious cabin, well-sorted dynamics and robust engines really add to its appeal, making it the most appreciated sedan of the year. The expensive price tag of Honda Mobilio is not really considered to be the deal breaker. What will encourage the folks to sign the cheque is the fact that this sedan is not only a capable and stylish hauler, but also gives them the feeling of a proper family car and of course the up-market & exclusive looks and features of Honda Mobilio will always set it stand apart from its counterparts.
In today’s fast paced world, we don’t seem to have time for anything. Absolutely anything at all!
Even for somebody as important as our parents! We seem to have forgotten that they were the ones who sacrificed so many nice things in their lives, so that we could lead better lives. Today we seem to have grown up and act quite smart with them, hurting them with our words and actions.
How many of us spend two minutes in the morning, talking a few nice words to them before starting for work? How many of us smile at them after coming back from work?
For us, it is all about coming back, relaxing, having dinner and going back to sleep. Do we really pause to think that they might have waited the whole day just to share a few updates with us? Today many aged mothers don’t even switch on the mixer in the kitchen, because it might disturb their son who is watching his favorite program on TV, in full volume.
When did we grow so big for our own parents? Who taught us to ignore them? Our education? I certainly doubt so. We ourselves have grown up to believe that we know everything, or at least more than our parents.
I too, was so busy engaged in my own mechanic pace of life. I used to get angry whenever my dad asked anything more than twice, forgetting the fact that this was the same man who explained me so many things patiently, how many ever times I asked him the same doubt as a kid.
One day when I had some free time and when I had a general discussion with my dad, I saw the glow in his eyes and I felt guilty that I had not given him this happiness for so long. I realized as parents get old, they go through an age reversal; they become kids again.
They want to be listened to and they want to say the same things over and again. As I was pondering over these thoughts, as a divine message, my eyes fell on a quote, that changed my life forever – “You will realize the value of a person only when you see their empty chair”. It shook me mentally and I have tried to change a lot ever since. Our parents don’t need our diamonds, cars, houses or anything tangible. They want only a fraction of our time and our smile.
This lesson has helped me to deal with my four year old son in a big way. I try feeding him the thought that people are important, everything else money can buy. With respect to kids, I have also learnt another important lesson – that one should never be busy to hear their small talk, because for them, they are big and important enough to be shared.
Once we go on ignoring our kids when they try to share something with us, as they grow, they will get into the habit of concealing big and serious matters as well from us. All because of a simple reason – we never had the time for them!
As a finance professional in the management cadre, leaving my job to take care of my son and moving to a different city were indeed tough decisions. However, today, when I sit back and realize that my kid has benefited a lot from my presence – every decision seems worth it. There is no bad decision or bad timing in one’s life. God has made all the plans for us and we just need to carry on.
Today I deal with two different generations – my dad and my son, under the same roof and it would only be apt to say that every day is a new learning experience for me, as I get to imbibe so many values from them. Today I am so much at peace with myself, because of small changes in my approach. I am trying to give my best shot as a mother, wife and daughter and it indeed gives me immense pleasure to see the happy faces of my loved ones.
